Slaves always want to guarantee that they are in the right side of the law. There is a symbiotic relationship between white supremacy and Negro inferiority. Slaves always want to make sure that they are in “sync” with white superiority. “If you fail to plan, you intend to fail.” White supremacists will be elated.
I have always said that a plan has four elements:
Timetable – In a legal proceeding, there is a difference between a civil action and a summary proceeding. The timetable for a summary proceeding is defined under RPAPL. Suffice it to say, any summary proceeding will be triedwithin ten days.
Strategy – “Show of Force”
Public Pressure Group
Special Interest Group
If we are only concentrating on timetable, the last court appearance was November 30, 2016. The preceding court appearance was September 15, 2016. Even if I were not the founder of the Freedom Party, I am still entitled, by law, to a habitable apartment. Every church has a “parsonage.” The “commander-in-chief” is given a “rent-free” White House.
I am not asking United African Movement nor Freedom Party to pay the rent on said apartment. Since I have to write all publications, for both UAM and Freedom Party, I should be accorded a “suitable workspace” absent commuting. When Mr. Trump is sworn in as the 45th president, everything he needs is “on the house” including Air Force One.
An “ethical community” does not have to rely on anyone but itself. The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution outlawed “standing armies.” Of course, the “framers” were of the view that slavery would be perpetual. President Abraham Lincoln was forced into a different take. He chose a hybrid. Release the body but absent an “orientation of the mind.” The “lack of ethics” is a burden to all taxpayers.
CPW Towers, LLC v. Maddox, Index No. L&T 86146 (Civ. Ct., N.Y. Co. 2014) was filed in 2014. The Maddoxes have already been victimized by a “bait and switch” in the prior, summary proceeding. Despite the “deplorable conditions” in the above-mentioned apartment, the Manhattan Housing Court judge, unilaterally, ruled that the Maddoxes had an obligation to pay all rental arrears, but the landlord had no obligation to make any repairs.
Since September 15, 2016, I have not received any response from Freedom Party or United African Movement to any suggested plans of action to “Keep the Pressure On” nor any alternative plan of support of CPW Towers, LLC v. Maddox, supra. If a political party is unable or unwilling to defend its own director, no one is going to, nor should they, respect it. This behavior is a slap in the face of Rosa Parks and Fannie Lou Hamer and to Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. who was not a “Democrat.”
It is not appropriate for anyone to play the “race card” in “militating” against Donald Trump. Influenced by the “tea party,” Trump ran a successful, populist campaign. Even though he was a billionaire, he was able to “con” the American people into believing that he could still identify with them. Trump had a questionable motive.
The Freedom Party has been working on a “code of ethics” since 2010. Before I ceased the attending weekly forums at Elks Plaza on Fulton Street in Brooklyn, I required all attendees to show a “pen” and “pad” to be admitted to a weekly forum. Bruce Copney would supply a “free copy” of the U.S. Constitution. The legal course, on “political literacy” was free to attendees. Blacks would not have it. The “boycott” was on!
Blacks, in United African Movement and Freedom Party, questioned self-determination. I would have to defray all litigation costs for self-determination inSouthgate v. Maddox and UAM. This is in the public record. It would take the Gold Star Parents taking an “ethical stand” in a show of support for their son Captain Khizr Khan “to vindicate my position.”
If you are associated with an activist organization and it lacks a war budget, you already have your answer. It is “a chitlin circuit operation.” Although I provided, first class, legal representation to countless pro bono clients, I never had the pleasure of operating with a war budget in any of those cases.
This would mean that I was not only operating a” non-income producing business,” but also a business “beyond the purview of the IRS.” I sacrificed my legal career for the betterment of all blacks. No “war chest” was ever amassed. Many times, I would sacrifice my family’s creature comforts. I was always living on a “high wire” without a cushion.
Despite all of the great, black lawyers, none of them choose “to take the bull by the horns” and give Blacks an “orientation” and a “remedial education.” Blacks have always had an “open pipeline” to the prison-industrial complex. “Daddy King’s” legacy taught me that “it is better late than never.”
Any uprising would have to start by January 20, 2017. In the meantime, Leola and I are facing a summary eviction, seventy-two hours after January 26, 2017. No money should be sent to UAM or Freedom Party. Forward donations, as a “token of appreciation” for a War Chest to “Friends of Alton Maddox.” Time is of the essence.
Donald Trump is a member of “FIRE.” The landlord-tenant court will now be under his jurisdiction as “commander-in-chief.” The inaction of Freedom Party and UAM to lead a “pressure group” has placed us behind the “eight-ball.” The possibility of City Marshals knocking down the door, in a pre-dawn raid, is a real possibility.
Despite the dictum in Sanford v. Scott 19 How (60 U.S.) 393 (1857), the “framers” never intended for “free blacks” to flip the U.S. Constitution on its head and starting a Civil War over stopping Blacks from influencing the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Our black psychiatrists and historians have failed the community. A “slave” is unable to make a frontal attack on the slavemaster. In response to “Trump’s sloganeering,” our battle cry should be “Blacks Made America Great.”
