Dr. Yosef of ben-Jochannan made his transition on or about March 18, 2015. Preliminary funereal arrangements have already been made. The homegoing services will occur on this Saturday, March 28, 2015. The wake will happen on Friday, March 27. This is enough lead-time for us to get busy. Future generations should become aware of his intellectual property.
Lessons can be learned from the death of Dr. John Henrik Clarke. We should pique the curiosity of others to “Nile Valley Contributions to Civilization.” Our children should not be the last persons to benefit from these contributions. It would be sad if the New York Times and WABC-TV’s “Here and Now” fail to mention Dr. Ben. Whites have an interest in the Nile Valley. They should recognize the leading authority.
Another giant has joined the ancestors. We should do more than attend a funeral, cry crocodile tears, attend the burial site and throw dirt on his remains. “Legalese” gets busy after the burial. It did with Dr. John Henrik Clarke to the detriment of Sis. Sybil Williams Clarke, his widow and next-of-kin. We must preserve and protect Dr. Ben’s intellectual property.
Hopefully, Dr. Jeffries will be able to unveil further plans on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Brooklyn Christian Center, 1061 Atlantic Avenue (bet. Classon and Franklin) in Brooklyn. Take the “C” train to Franklin Avenue. All of us must get busy after we hear the final plans. The intellectual highway should resemble the LIE at “rush hour.”
