Change of Venue in DC – Black Lives Matter

The symposium on Friday, April 17 “From “Reconstruction” to “Civil Rights” to “Silver Rites” will now be held at Root Learning Academy, 15 Kennedy Street, (nr. No. Capitol) in Washington, DC amid the revival of 2015 “Red Summer.”  This was a horrific period of American history. History is now repeating itself while President Barack Obama is in the White House.

Nearly four hundred persons of African ancestry have already been assassinated and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is on a banana peel.  It is important that Blacks are able to define the current strategies and tactics that Blacks must avoid in combatting systematic police abuses, criminality and assassinations.

I will discuss “master and slave law” which I had to study at the University of Georgia Law School. Slavery manifests itself in the “badges of slavery” like the prison-industrial complex. White supremacists view the “badges of slavery” as an exception to the Thirteenth Amendment.  Walter Scott violated the sumptuary laws in South Carolina.  This violation calls for capital punishment.

This symposium will start immediately at7:00 p.m.   This change of venue was sudden to me.   It must end at 10:00 p.m.  I have no organizational support.   Therefore, I missed some of the ground rules for the new venue.  I had just presented a powerful paper at Campbell Law School in Raleigh, NC on “The Black American Lawyer.”  Every black lawyer should have heard this lecture.  Only a white law school in North Carolina would allow it.  For more information call 202-584-2101.
