Black Philosophy Matters

Black Philosophy Matters

By Alton H. Maddox, Jr.

United African Movement was established on August 17, 1988 with great reservations from Alton H. Maddox, Jr.  Kwame Ture while a student at Howard University, had acquainted me with Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey.  Kwame loved Marcus Garvey.

Mr. Garvey came to the United States in 1916.  Booker T. Washington died in 1915.  Blacks, in New York, were indifferent to philosophy.  Since the Civil War, Blacks, in New York, have always been in the Democratic column. President Abraham Lincoln had to keep one eye on New York and its “Fifth Column.”

It has always been difficult to represent Blacks in New York courtrooms. No legal defense support group exists in New York for poor and targeted clients.  In my myriad, probono cases, no legal defense fund was ever established for the “prey.”  Negroes are afraid of “guilt by association.”  This is 2017 and not the “Red Summer of 1919.”

In 1994, New York jumped on UAM like a lion would jump on a zebra under natural law. Advocates of Black Lives Matter are welcomed in unlocked zoos.  I read the complaint of the Giuliani Administration against UAM and Alton Maddox.  Members of UAM immediately raised the white flag.  I had to defend the “right of self-determination” alone.

They only supported Garveyism amid good times.  Marcus Garvey who?  Presently, most “members” of UAM are worse than rats on a sinking ship.    The outcome ofSouthgate v. Maddox is explained in a transcript of the New York City Commission on Human Rights.  This is part of UAM’s history. Demand it.

No one had the vision to connect the dots and think outside the box for the supporter of the Brawley family.  This has been a struggle over two, disparate, branches of philosophy.  On the one hand, combatants were actually “doing for self” and, on the other hand, others were adherents of Dr. W.E.B. DuBois and for “assimilation.”

This philosophy of “assimilation” is not going anywhere.  It leads to “Mentacide.”  There will always be young people who will recognize the flaws of dependency. For example, the “Gang of Four” was able to “loot” Harlem.  Harlem is now in the “intensive care unit.”  This is eternal and incessant cannibalism.

The compilation of Compromise of 2017 is the result of Donald J. Trump throwing his hat in the ring in 2016.  It was actually thrown into a barrel of “crabs.”  A planning conference, for the 2016 presidential election, happened on October 3, 2015 at Galbraith A.M.E. Zion Church in the nation’s capital. The timing highlighted the Immigration Act of 1965, the key plank in Trumpism.

Prof.  Jim Sleeper of Yale University and the Washington Post would not be surprised by my legal acumen.  I have been ahead of the pack throughout New York’s legal history.  Unfortunately, I have had to swim with “crabs.”  They are opposed to anyone escaping the barrel.  Blacks left the plantation as “crabs.”

My compilation and dissecting of Trump’s playbook could have catapulted the Freedom Party into a national, political party.  This is my goal. The Freedom Party would have been the darling of immigrants, the dispossessed, the alienated, refugees and persons who are looking for a second chance.  This constitutes the balance of power in a presidential election.

The first week after President Donald J. Trump sought to implement a “ban on Muslims,” the ACLU netted Ten Million Dollars.  No one on ACLU’s staff has my credentials and legal skills and no one in the ACLU has “Trump’s playbook.”  The “crabs” had a different idea.  They sought censorship.  This is a class action to the detriment of all Blacks.

President Thomas Jefferson made a significant statement.  Politics is military science.  “The cost of freedom is eternal vigilance.”  Jefferson was only talking to white men but his advice was designed to divide Blacks.  White men were adverse to employing “poison pills.”   This was based on President Abraham Lincoln’s “Divided House” speech. Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky agrees.

White men would get divisive information about Blacks.  They would drop a “poison pill” into a Black group.  This is the Biblical story of Samson and Delilah.  To weaken his strength, she scissored his hair.  We must learn to “separate the wheat from the chaff” and insulate the wise ones among us.  Predators are always on the prowl.

President Trump used military formations to maximum effect. This is why “I went to the “Kentucky Derby” and put all of my money on him and his jockey, Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana.  See “Central Park 7.” My client won his freedom with a “preemptive strike.”

The prosecution used a “preemptive strike” in Baltimore, MD to mislead the people that the rogue cops would be convicted.  I saw it differently. On “Leid Story” I examined the state’s attorney use of a pre-emptive strike.  I outlined my concerns, at the time, on “Leid Story.” The key flaw in the prosecution was “lead defendant.”

Unless we incorporate all of the teachings in Compromise of 2017 into the 2020 presidential sweepstakes, Trump will again be in the “winner’s circle.”  This is why “crabs” are seeking to put a “mule” in the winner’s circle.  In the interim, the South will continue to rise.

Suppressed resumés undermine restarting Freedom Retreat for Boys and Girls.  This is the delight of predators.  Our children need survival skills.  Pre-K in New York City is “Mentacide.”  It is a “bait and switch.”  Gov. Andrew Cuomo has just increased the age for the prosecution of children as adults.  Predators are still in the winner’s circle.

United African Movement will hold its weekly Wednesday evening forum on April 26, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at 1061 Atlantic Avenue (between Classon and Franklin) in Brooklyn.  Freedom Retreat for Boys and Girls for 2018 needs to be restarted.  Resumes are needed to fill positions.  Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. said: “The Negro cannot win … if he is willing to sell the future of his children for his personal and immediate comfort and safety.”
